The Ride
We'll kick things off at Sy’s Harley-Davidson, meeting at 8:30 AM for a coffee, pre-ride chat, and safety briefing. At 9:00 AM sharp, we roll out for a scenic route through some beautiful riding roads, heading straight to the coast.
Our destination, Ocean Beach Hotel, is the perfect place to unwind with a great pub lunch, cold drinks, and stunning seaside views. It’s a classic Aussie venue that pairs perfectly with a Harley-Davidson ride.

The Route
We'll depart from Sy’s Harley-Davidson and head west through the picturesque Blue Mountains. Our first stop is Katoomba, where we'll stretch our legs and take in the stunning views. From there, the group will ride on to the legendary Mount Panorama in Bathurst for a photo at the iconic racetrack. *The route may change slightly but the destination is set. Please check with the ride leader on the day.
Lunch at The Oxford Hotel
After our photo op, we'll ride into Bathurst for lunch at the renowned Oxford Hotel—a staple in the region since the early 1900s.
Located at 170 William Street, the Oxford offers a variety of quality food options:
- B Town BBQ – Authentic Texas-style smoked meats, cooked low and slow using a Yoder Smoker from Kansas.
- Brock’s Restaurant – A modern take on classic favourites, using fresh, seasonal produce.
- The Terrace Rooftop Bar – Relax with a cocktail and gourmet bar snacks while enjoying sweeping views over Bathurst.

Join us for the next Sy's Harley-Davidson Shop Ride on Sunday, 16 February! Meet at the dealership from 8 AM, with stands up at 9 AM sharp. This scenic journey will take us from Wollongong, past the beautiful coastline of Kiama, to Berry for a sweet stop at Berry Dough for doughnuts and coffee. From there, we’ll ride through the stunning Kangaroo Valley before reaching our final destination at Briars Country Lodge in Bowral, where we’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch. Don’t miss this fantastic day out on the road with your Harley family!
